2009 Women's Baseball Tournaments

Huntingburg's League Stadium is a unique baseball stadium with a seating capacity of 2,783. The original ball field and grandstand were renovated and expanded in 1991 by Columbia Pictures for filming of the movie "A League of Their Own" which starred Tom Hanks, Geena Davis, Rosie O'Donnell and Madonna.

League Stadium

League Stadium has retained its unique character since the movie "A League of Their Own" was shot there including the retro Rockford Peaches scoreboard in left field.

Below is a picture of the 1946 Rockford Peaches who played every year during the existence of the All American Girls Professional Baseball League. The Peaches were featured in the movie.
